Teachers Support Group
Teachers Support Group
A small support group of teachers who meet together for discussion and mutual support.
Our Group has established a small support group of teachers who meet together for discussion and mutual support. The focus is on identifying and solving issues that are important to members of the group in a forum that is both secure and confidential. Teachers can also take advantage of our therapists' Consultation services, which are offered at the same convenient location. The group’s goal:
To share experiences in personal professional development
Develop methods to overcome classroom anxiety and/or depression
Discuss strategies to deescalate potentially violent interaction with students and parents
Provide a forum for other themes brought up by the group.
